Kohl came out to check our wiring and fix a few outlets, and he was great to work with. He didn’t just do the basics—he noticed and fixed a couple of issues we hadn’t even caught, which I really appreciated. Super proactive, efficient, and honest throughout the whole process. You can tell he cares about doing the job right. Definitely someone I’d recommend!

Mountain Valley Electric was fantastic to work with. We have an old home with some difficult spaces and they cheerfully rose to the challenge. One of the things I was most impressed with was how prompt and quickly they got work done. They answered the phone, they sent a technician the next day, followed by a bid emailed to me the following day. They were able to schedule the work the same week that I called. All of their employees showed up on time & were pleasant to work with. We had a lot of work to be done and Ben worked hard all day to accomplish it. We had been told by a couple other electricians that they wouldn’t or couldn’t do one of the items on our list (vent the bathroom). Ben saw the problem and let us know he could fix it - a huge relief and something we’re really enjoying. I would recommend Mountain Valley Electric without hesitation!

We recently moved into a new home in Ammon and the basement was only framed in. We called a couple different electrical companies for quotes and Mountain Valley has gone above and beyond from the very beginning! Andrew was the electrician who came for the initial assessment thoroughly explaining the whole process, offering recommendations as well. Today, I called to let them know we are ready to finish the job and Bree was awesome! She is so personable and quickly scheduled us. About an hour later, she called back telling us Andrew had finished a job early and could come today and start finishing up our basement! I really appreciated that she thought of us and helped meet our needs sooner than expected. Once again, Andrew was great! He is professional and courteous. We opened up a business and somehow the lighting wasn’t setup at all. We drove 6 hours and had 4 people waiting around. We were absolutely panicked. We called Ben and he drove (3.5 hours mind you) the very next morning and worked Sun up to sun down fixing the electrical work and setting up our lighting. He was there at 8am so he had to have left around 4AM which is just a testament to this man’s work ethic. After his help we were able to open our shop and make our grand opening deadline. I cannot thank Ben enough for the AMAZING job he did along with his kind and friendly demeanor. He took the time not only to explain what was wrong but how he was going to fix it which truly put our fears at ease. Thank you Ben, you did a phenomenal job. The lighting looks superb and it’s crucial for our product to be in the best lighting possible. 10/10 will absolutely be a repeat customer.

I was surprised that Andrew was able to come to our home three hours ahead of his scheduled appointment. Very nice! Andrew was presented with a difficult request to install GFI circuits in two bathrooms. He found a very innovative way to do it which I thought was genius! His finished work blends right into our existing home as if the outlets had always been there. I was very impressed. Yes, I'd call on Mountain Valley Electric again and highly recommend them.

This company is amazing. First of all they came out the same day we called to give us an estimate of what it would cost for what we needed done. They were so friendly and helpful. The appointment was made for the following Monday. They texted when their employee was on his way. Right on time. The job was quickly done. My husband is blind ad we are both elderly and can’t get things done ourselves. This will be our go to company for all our future electrical needs. Ad their prices are very fair. Cole was amazing and so kind.

Especially since I had to call my husband to verify information and we had to wait to get my husband on the phone. Would absolutely recommend this company for your electric work. It’s neat and tidy and looks very well done. The electrician even updated the space above our breaker box with the fire prevention foam stuff that was actually missing.

I had Mountain Valley Electric complete the rough in electrical installation for my home and they did an excellent job. As a person who had worked in construction, I loved to learn that they plan out and run the electrical as if they were putting it in their own home. Because of this, they take into consideration where all the light switches, fixtures, and outlets not only should be by code, but also where I as the home owner would find the best convenience and function for things in my daily life. They also do not cut corners or use cheaper materials. It's quality stuff done well. They were able to get out to the job site quickly and were able to complete the work in a timely manner so that our project could move forward as planned. I also know the owner and met with many of his employees and they are all really good people. This is a trusted company, run by people who really care, do quality work, and will be there to help if you happen to have any problem. They stand by their work.

Mountain Valley Electric did a very good job from the beginning. Starting with the estimate and finishing with the installation. East Idaho is undergoing a building boom. So many Electrical companies DON’T need your business. I am 75 years of age so I can’t fix things like in the past. They did a great job and would recommend them to anyone.
